Day 7  - July 5 : Paryang to Manasarovar (275 kms, 8 hrs drive)

Today was the day we have been waiting for the first glimpse of the sacred Mount Kailash and the holy Lake Manasarovar. Program was as usual, left early after breakfast, drove through Mayum La Pass (17,000 ft), the highest point of the drive, and reached the eastern banks of Lake Manasarovar (15,052 ft) by afternoon. We did the parikrama of the lake by Land Cruisers and returned to the eastern banks. On the way visited Trugo and Chiu Gompas and a close pass by of  Mt. Gurlamandata (7724m). Lake Manasa Sarovar Parikrama took about 4-5hrs.We stayed overnight at the Paryang Ashrama.
